Lab Members
Nickolas Serniuck
PhD Candidate - Chemical Biology
Nick is a PhD student in the Chemical Biology Program and is co-supervised by Dr. Jonathan Bramson. He is currently working on the design, synthesis, and testing of bifunctional covalent dimerizers capable of bringing immune machinery to cancer cells. When he is not in the lab you can either find him playing hockey or skiing.
Karolina Krygier
PhD Student - Chemical Biology
Karolina is a graduate student in the Chemical Biology program. Her research focuses on the development of multi-antigen targeting antibodies for cancer immunotherapy. Karolina enjoys working out, cooking, and playing with her Bengal and Tabby cats!
Arthur Srayeddin
PhD Student - Chemical Biology
Arthur is a graduate student in the Chemical Biology program and is co-supervised by Dr. Jonathan Bramson. He is working on the development and validation of a universal CIR that recruits T-cells to various targets (cancerous or other) by labeling an assortment of antibodies. Outside of the lab, he enjoys playing chess, weight lifting, drinking water, and eating bread.
Sandra Hwang
PhD Student - Biochemistry
Sandra is a graduate student in the Biochemistry program. Her project focuses on using our lab’s bifunctionals to reprogram tumour associated macrophages (TAMs) to eliminate tumour cells. When not in the lab, Sandra enjoys playing volleyball, playing video games, and listening to and playing music.

Anjalee Wijetunge
Post-Doc
Anjalee is a postdoctoral fellow in the Rullo lab. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at University of Arizona before coming to McMaster as a postdoc. Her PhD work involved designing pH activable chemical probes to study unique biological environments. In Rullo lab she focuses on developing chemical modalities for macrohage polarization to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases. Outside the lab Anjalee likes experimenting with new flavors and ingredients in the kitchen, spending time with family and taking nature walks.
